[Video Highlights] Sunderland 0-2 Arsenal: Sanchez Brace Enough For Sloppy Gunners

By on October 25, 2014

Arsenal came away with a 2-0 win over Sunderland on Saturday afternoon thanks to a double from Alexis Sanchez after some poor defending from the hosts.

Sanchez opened the scoring with a sublime finish as he took full advantage of Wes Brown’s poor back-pass to race clear and chip Vito Mannone for 1-0 in the 30th minute.

We were playing well below par and needed another mistake from Sunderland to finally wrap up the three points when former Gunners Mannone gifted Sanchez a late second.

It wasn’t the prettiest performance but the win is all that counts and it sees us move up to fifth in the Premier League table after nine games.
