[Teams] Man Utd vs Chelsea: Confirmed Line-Ups

By on October 26, 2014

Manchester United entertain run-away leaders Chelsea at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon in this weekends big Premier League clash.

The former champions head into the game trailing the Blues by 10 points so will be hoping to inflict a first defeat of the season on the West Londoners to get back into the race.

Wayne Rooney serves the final game of his three-match ban and Louis van Gaal must also make do without striker Radamel Falcao as he fails to make the squad. Adnan Januzaj keeps his place in the starting eleven and plays in attack alongside Robin van Persie and Juan Mata.

Chris Smalling comes back in to the defence with Phil Jones dropping out, while Marouane Fellaini starts in midfield in place of Ander Herrera.

Chelsea are without star striker Diego Costa after he failed a late fitness test so Didier Drogba starts up front as Loic Remy is out with a groin injury. Cesar Azpilicueta is suspended so Filipe Luis starts at left-back.

Here are the confirmed line-ups
