[Tweet] Theo Walcott Offers Training Update & Hints At Playing This Weekend

Arsenal attacker Theo Walcott has offered an update on how his return to training is going and hinted that he’s set for his first team comeback this weekend

Arsenal attacker Theo Walcott has taken to Twitter to offer an update on how his return to training is going and has hinted that he could be set for his first team comeback this weekend.

Walcott has been on the sidelines since rupturing his knee ligament during the closing stages of our FA Cup clash with Tottenham at the Emirates back in early January.

The 25-year-old returned to training earlier this month and got 45 minutes under his belt for the Under-21’s almost two weeks ago, while he edged closer to making his return for the first team as he was an unused substitute during our 2-0 win over Sunderland last Saturday.

Walcott has now taken to Twitter to let fans know that training is ‘going well’ this week and dropped a huge hint that he could feature against Burnley on Saturday after saying he’s ‘looking forward to the weekend’.

Theo’s return will be a huge boost as he’s been sorely missed over the past 10 months and his runs behind the opposition defence are going to give us a new dimension to our attacking play.

Unfortunately Mesut Ozil isn’t going to be around to play those killer passes for a while but I’m sure the likes of Santi Cazorla, Jack Wilshere and Alexis Sanchez are going to enjoy having Walcott back in the side.
