Tottenham Hotspur take on Aston Villa at Villa Park on Sunday afternoon. Here is the team news and predicted line-up that Mauricio Pochettino will select.

Goalkeeper: Michel Vorm got a rare start in midweek but will likely drop back to the bench with Hugo Lloris recalled in goal.

Defence: Kyle Walker remains out with a pelvic injury and although Kyle Naughton performed well against Brighton on Wednesday, Eric Dier is favourite to start at right-back. Danny Rose should come back in for Ben Davies while skipper Younes Kaboul is expected to start alongside Jan Vertonghen at the back.

Midfield: Etienne Capoue faces a late fitness test on a knee problem which ruled him out in midweek but he’s expected to shake it off to start in midfield and should be partnered by Ryan Mason with the youngster making the first team shirt his own in recent weeks.

Attack: Aaron Lennon is a big doubt after being withdrawn at half time on Wednesday so Eric Lamela should start on the right while Harry Kane has surely played himself into Pochettino’s starting line-up with another goal against Brighton. Nacer Chadli could be the man to make way which would see Christian Eriksen moved out to the left wing. Emmanuel Adebayor is expected to replace Roberto Soldado up front.

Here is how we think Spurs will line-up on Sunday:

What do you think of the team? What side would you put out?

He has to be joking if this is the predicted line up fazio and Davies need to start at the back I like capoue but Dembele should start his skill level is way above Capoue he can beat anyone one on one which then can create a hole to push forward and soldaldo needs to start over Ade ok goals ain’t there yet but his link up play has been so good

play soldado behind kane, his link up plays better, and replace kapoue with stambouli , he plays with conviction tries to win every 50 50 ball also a lot of flair, thought he was excellent against brighton

I do not understand how we could leave Dembele out. Too many people moan about him hanging on to the ball which does happen but his overall performance should not be overlooked. When Dembele starts we have a much better chance of winning. This is not just an opinion it is a fact. The Moose should be one of the first names on the sheet!!!! He wins a lot of challenges. We would not have been completely over run against Newcastle. Poch must finally realized that unlike others, Mousa will not be physically mowed down the way Eriksen, Mason and Chadli are. I don’t mind Mason but he can disappear in the second half. We will always struggle if we continue to keep playing the threesome of Lamela, Eriksen and Chadli at the same time. Two of them fine and then sub the other in at some point. All three on just makes us way too soft.
