[Video Goals] Arsenal 3-0 Burnley: Sanchez Double Sends Gunners Fourth

By on November 1, 2014

Arsenal beat Burnley 3-0 at the Emirates on Saturday afternoon thanks largely to the efforts of the in-form Alexis Sanchez who helped himself to two more goals in another superb all-round display.

After a hugely frustrating first 70 minutes where we spurned a whole host of chances, we finally found the breakthrough when Sanchez rose above the Burnley defence to head home Calum Chambers’ cross for 1-0.

Less then two minutes later and it was 2-0 when Chambers was on hand to poke home after Danny Welbeck’s shot was blocked on the line following a corner and Sanchez wrapped things up in stoppage time when he kept a cool head to stroke home from close range.

The win makes it three wins on the bounce and sees us move up to fourth place, level on points with third-placed Man City ahead of their derby with United tomorrow.
