Tottenham Hotspur came from a goal down to beat Aston Villa 2-1 at Villa Park on Sunday afternoon.

The hosts started well and took a deserved lead when Andreas Wiemann scored Villa’s first goal in over 9 hours of football in the 16th minute.

However, the big turning point of the game came mid-way through the second half when Christian Benteke was dismissed for violent conduct after reacting badly to a challenge from Ryan Mason.

Spurs took control of the final stages of the game and levelled things up in the 84th minute when Nacer Chadli was on hand to slot home at the far post following a corner before Harry Kane came off the bench to score a stoppage time winner with a deflected free-kick.
