[Teams] Man Utd vs Crystal Palace: Confirmed Line-Ups

By on November 8, 2014

Manchester United will look to bounce back from last weekends derby disappointment when they take on Crystal Palace at Old Trafford this afternoon.

Despite speculation suggesting Louis van Gaal could drop Robin van Persie for youngster James Wilson, the Dutchman starts up front today with skipper Wayne Rooney in support.

Antonio Valencia starts at right-back again as Rafael is still out injured, while Michael Carrick makes his first start of the season. It looks as though the 33-year-old will be in midfield with Daley Blind at the back alongside Paddy McNair.

Here are the confirmed line-ups:

Man Utd

De Gea; Valencia, McNair, Blind, Shaw; Fellaini, Carrick, Januzaj; Rooney, Di Maria, van Persie.

Subs: Lindegaard, Vermijl, Blackett, Fletcher, Herrera, Mata, Wilson

Crystal Palace

Speroni, Mariappa, Delaney, Dann, Ward, Puncheon, Ledley, McArthur, Bolasie, Chamakh, Campbell.

Subs: Hennessey, Kelly, Fryers, McCarthy, Bannan, Doyle, Gayle.
