[Teams] Crystal Palace vs Liverpool: Reds Duo Ruled Out

By on November 23, 2014

Liverpool will look to kick start their season when they take on Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park this afternoon.

Boss Brendan Rodgers has been hit by a double blow for the game with both Mario Balotelli and Jordan Henderson missing out.

Balotelli isn’t in the squad due to a minor groin injury while Henderson has been ruled out due to illness. It means Joe Allen starts in midfield alongside Steven Gerrard while Rickie Lambert is handed a rare start up front.

Javier Manquillo comes in at right back with Glen Johnson moving across to the left, while Philippe Coutinho and Adam Lallana start in attack with Raheem Sterling.

Here are the confirmed line-ups:

Crystal Palace

Speroni; Kelly, Delaney, Dann, Ward; Jedinak, Ledley, Bolasie, Puncheon; Gayle, Chamakh.

Subs: Hennessey, Hangeland, Bannan, McArthur, Zaha, Campbell, Johnson.

Mignolet, Manquillo, Lovren, Skrtel, Johnson, Gerrard, Allen, Lallana, Coutinho, Sterling, Lambert

Subs: Jones, Toure , Moreno, Lucas, Can, Borini, Markovic.

Whats your predicted score now we’ve seen the teams?
