By on December 3, 2014

Chelsea maintained their advantage at the top of the table with a resounding 3-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur at Stamford Bridge.

After a bright start from the visitors, Chelsea opened the scoring when Eden Hazard played a neat one-two with Didier Drogba before firing low past Hugo Lloris.

The French goalkeeper then gifted the home side a second just three minutes later when his poor clearance led to Drogba cooly slotting home for 2-0 in the 23rd minute.

The game was then over when substitute Loic Remy shrugged off the challenge of Jan Vertonghen to curl home a third in the 76th minute.

The win sees Chelsea maintain their six point advantage over second-placed Manchester City after the Citizens beat Sunderland 4-1 at the Stadium of Light.
