[Teams] Newcastle vs Chelsea: Confirmed Line-Ups

Chelsea will look to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League table when the take on Newcastle United at St James’ Park this afternoon.

Jose Mourinho has recalled striker Diego Costa after he served his one-match ban in midweek. The Spaniard replaces Didier Drogba up front, despite the Ivorian’s impressive goal-scoring display against Spurs.

Gary Cahill starts at the back even though he was replaced at half time at Stamford Bridge after a clash of heads with Jan Vertonghen, while John Obi Mikel comes into the midfielder in place of the suspended Nemanja Matic.

Ramires returns to the squad after missing the last two games with a niggling thigh injury.
