Chelsea moved six points clear at the top of the Premier League table with a comfortable 2-0 win over West Ham at Stamford Bridge this afternoon.

The Blues opened the scoring just after the half hour mark when John Terry was on hand to poke home Diego Costa’s headed effort following a Cesc Fabregas corner.

Costa then wrapped up the three points in the 61st minute when he out-witted three West Ham defenders before firing a left-footed strike low into Adrian’s net.

The win sees Chelsea move six points clear of second-placed Manchester City ahead of their game away at West Brom this afternoon.
