Wenger Makes 4 Changes: Predicted Arsenal Starting XI To Face West Ham

Arsenal will be looking to climb into the top four when they take on West Ham at the Emirates on Sunday afternoon. Here is the side Gooner Mac thinks Arsene Wenger will select:

Goalkeeper: Wojciech Szczesny has performed adequately since returning to full fitness from a pelvic injury so I expect the Pole to once again start on Sunday.

Defence: Laurent Koscielny has a chance of returning to the side after struggling with a calf problem in recent weeks. The Frenchman could resurrect his partnership alongside Per Mertesacker at the heart of defence. Mathieu Debuchy could do with a rest having started the last four games following three months out with an ankle injury so Calum Chambers could come back in at right back.

Midfield: Arsene has very few options to rotate in the middle of the park as Mikel Arteta, Jack Wilshere and Aaron Ramsey all remain unavailable through injury. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain was rested against QPR so it’s likely he’ll get a recall in place of Tomas Rosicky. The Czech international played well on Friday but he won’t be fit enough to start twice in three days.

Attack: Theo Walcott is pushing for a recall but I think we’ll see him off the bench tomorrow. Olivier Giroud is suspended following his needless sending off against QPR so Danny Welbeck is likely to lead the line with Lukas Podolski coming into the side on the left. Arsene Wenger doesn’t look like he’s ready to rest Alexis Sanchez any time soon so he’ll most likely start on the right.

Here is how I think we’ll see Arsenal line-up:

What do you think of the team and what eleven would you pick?

With Koscielny and Chemberlin back in the squad…One can bet for a victory. I dont see any sence to rest Debuchy and SAnchez when they were fabulous against QPR.. Its like going to war with a gun short of bullets. Sanchez, Debuchy have to play considering how good West Ham have been recently despite their loss.

I do not agree with your predicted line up and , if the Ox was fit , I don’t think Poldi will be starting
Here is what I expect the line up to be

    Schezsny
    Debuchy Kosc Per Gibs
    Flamini
    Rosicky Carzola
    Ox Sanchez
    Welbeck

This adds more strength in the defensive side of the midfield area with Rosicky in the middle, The Ox works harder than Pioldi in tracking back.

Now, if the Ox was not ready, I think Wenger will go with Sanogo upfront as he likes to play someone who can hold the ball upfront and play Welbeck and Sanchez on the wings
    Hope we win !

What on earth happened to Gnabry? I am looking forward to seeing the power and pace of Gnabry, Ox, Sanchez, Walcott probably all in one match.

That aside, it’s good news that Kos is pushing for a start. Surely our defence is expected to do better assuming no more setbacks happen. Giroud really did the unthinkable given the injuries we have and the schedule of games in the coming days. Hope he returns a reformed idiot!! Coyg

Wish Koscielny can start.. With Santi, Ox, Flamini in midfield plus nacho in the back, honestly i’m afraid the Liverpool game happen again. Sloppy Pass, lose the possesion, I hope not happen again because with 3 points seems like we can make Top 4 of the table.. Go Gunners!!
