Brendan Rodgers has been forced into one change at the back with Kolo Toure stepping in for the suspended Martin Skrtel with Dejan Lovren only deemed fit enough for a place on the bench.

Steven Gerrard starts in midfield with Jordan Henderson moving to the right wing-back role while Raheem Sterling continues up front with Mario Balotelli not named in the squad.
