Arsenal booked their place in the fourth round of the FA Cup with a routine 2-0 win over Hull City at the Emirates this evening.
Per Mertesacker broke the deadlock in the 20th minute when he rose high to head home an Alexis Sanchez corner.
We then had to wait until the 82nd minute to make the win safe when Santi Cazorla fed Sanchez on the edge of the area before the Chilean turned and curled home a stunning effort for 2-0.
Hull barely mustered a response so we cruised to a comfortable victory over last years finalists and booked our place in tomorrow’s fourth round draw.
