The draw for the fourth round of the FA Cup took place this evening and as usual it’s thrown up some intriguing ties. Find out who your team got here.
Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City play at home but Arsenal and Manchester United are away… it’s the FA Cup fourth round draw.
The draw for the fourth round of the FA Cup took place this evening and as usual it’s thrown up some intriguing ties.
Holders Arsenal successfully made it through to the next phase after a comfortable 2-0 win over last years finalists Hull City at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday evening and have been rewarded with a trip to Brighton & Hove Albion.
Manchester United were made to work for their place in the 4th round draw as they needed two second half goals from Ander Herrera and Angel Di Maria to beat Yeovil Town yesterday and Louis van Gaal’s men will now play away at lowly Cambridge United in the next round.
It was a little more comfortable for Chelsea as they eased past Watford 3-0 at Stamford Bridge and they’ve been drawn at home to play London rivals Millwall if they can beat Bradford City in a replay.
Liverpool are just about to kick off away at AFC Wimbledon and the winners will be at home to Bolton Wanderers in the next round, while the winners of tonight’s other game between Tottenham and Burnley will host Leicester City in the fourth round stage.
Manchester City have also been handed a home draw after overcoming Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday as Manuel Pellegrini’s men will take on Middlesbrough at the Etihad.
The draw has kept all the top teams apart but there are still some tricky tests for the Premier League big-boys, so perhaps we’ll see a few shocks in the fourth round.
