£77m Chelsea Target Declares Love For Man Utd, Agent Says He’ll Move Clubs Soon

Chelsea target Paul Pogba has declared his love for Manchester United just 24 hours after his agent confirmed he’ll look to leave Juventus in the near future

With the January transfer now open for business, managers are strengthening their squads ahead of the second half of the season, so we’ll bring you all the latest news and gossip. Today, Paul Pogba declares his love for Manchester United

Midfielder Paul Pogba has declared his love for Manchester United just 24 hours after his agent confirmed he’ll look to leave Juventus in the near future, according to reports.

Pogba spent three years at United after joining the clubs youth system in 2009 but walked away from Old Trafford to join Juventus when his contract expired in 2012 after failing to agree terms over a new deal.

The French international had become frustrated at not breaking into the first team set-up under Sir Alex Ferguson but he’s has gone on to become one of the best all-round midfielders in world football at Juventus.

The 21-year-old’s sensational form has attracted interest from all over Europe with Chelsea and United strongly linked with a move, and reports just last week suggested that Louis van Gaal was lining-up a £77m bid for the powerful midfielder.

The 20-time Premier League champions have now received a major boost after Pogba declared his love for the club in a recent interview where he also discussed his reasons for leaving two-and-a-half years ago.

“I’m impatient. It was the feeling that I had.

“The coach [Sir Alex Ferguson] had faith in me, but didn’t put me on.

“He said that I was too young. He said: ‘Your time will come’.

“It didn’t come. But it doesn’t mean I will speak ill of Manchester United. I love the club.” Pogba is quoted as saying by the Express

Pogba’s comments come just 24 hours after his agent, Mino Raiola, talked up a big-money move away from Juve, claiming that his client will look to leave Italian football in the near future.

“He [Pogba] cannot stay for very much longer in Italy,”

“It will depend on the Bianconeri. We extended his contract and we are happy that we did so.

“But when it is the right time to leave, we will inform them. I don’t know when that moment will be.” Raiola is quoted as saying by the Express

Juventus have always maintained that they have no interest in selling Pogba and are under no pressure to do-so after he signed a new five-year deal earlier in the season.

However, the Serie A champions would find it extremely difficult to turn down an offer in the region of £77m (€98m) if the likes of United or Chelsea came in and put that sort of money on the table, and it appears the midfielder is already thinking about his next move.

Pogba would be a superb addition if United or Chelsea could pull it off and he has all the attributes to develop even further to become a true legend of the game, so it would be great to see him plying his trade in the Premier League in the near future.
