[Video Goals] Arsenal 5-0 Aston Villa: Five Star Gunners Thrash Villa

Arsenal put in a five star performance to thrash Aston Villa 5-0 at the Emirates Stadium this afternoon.

We broke the deadlock in the 8th minute as Mesut Ozil sent Olivier Giroud clear with a wonderful touch and the striker chipped over the on-rushing Brad Guzan for 1-0.

Giroud then returned the favour after setting up Ozil for the second just after half time and Theo Walcott curled home a wonderful finish for 3-0 in the 63rd minute.

Chuba Akpom then won a penalty which Santi Cazorla converted for 4-0 before Hector Bellerin added a late fifth with a superb finish from 20 yards.

The win sees us climb back above Tottenham with just goal difference keeping Southampton in fourth place ahead of their clash with Swansea this afternoon.
