[Video Goals] Arsenal 2-0 Middlesbrough: Giroud Brace Books Place In Quarter Finals

Olivier Giroud hit a brace to sink Middlesbrough 2-0 at the Emirates and book Arsenal’s place in the quarter final’s of the FA Cup.

The Frenchman opened the scoring midway through the first half when he finished off an excellent move that led to Kieran Gibbs teeing him up at the near post.

Giroud then doubled our lead just two minutes later when he volleyed home Alexis Sanchez’s quick-fire corner in the 29th minute for 2-0.

We totally dominated the second half but wasted a number of good chances to add to our lead and Boro almost made it a nervy final few minutes after hitting the post late on.

However, we eased to a 2-0 win to book our place in Monday’s quarter final draw.
