Hull vs Arsenal Preview, Team News, Likely Line-Ups, Predicted Score & Betting Tips

Arsenal take on Hull at the KC Stadium this evening. Here’s a preview with team news, likely line-ups, prediction and betting tips for the game.

Arsenal will be looking keep the pressure on Man City when they take on Hull City at the KC Stadium this evening.

We slipped three points behind second-placed City following their narrow 1-0 win over Tottenham yesterday but a win would move us level on points with a game in hand.

Our nine-game winning streak was ended by the 0-0 draw with champions Chelsea last weekend but Arsene Wenger will be keen to continue our excellent 2015 form by getting back to winning ways tonight.

However, Hull won’t be easy pushovers as they come into the game in fine form themselves having secured back-to-back victories including a 1-0 win over Liverpool last Tuesday.

Despite that result, Steve Bruce’s men are just one point above the relegation zone after Sunderland and Leicester both won on Saturday, so the Tigers will be fighting for their lives this evening.

Team news

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is back in training after recovering from a groin injury but this game comes too soon.

Mikel Arteta is also still not in contention as he’s lacking match fitness following over five months out with an ankle injury.

Mathieu Debuchy is a major doubt with a hamstring injury so Hector Bellerin should continue at right-back.

Hull welcome back striker Nikica Jelavic after he recovered from a knee injury but Bruce may stick with the same eleven that beat Liverpool.

Midfielder David Meyler is back from suspension and defender Andy Robertson could also be available again after an ankle problem but Mohamed Diame is still a doubt with a knee injury.

Likely Line-Ups

Predicted Score

Hull 1-2 Arsenal: The hosts are a tough side to beat at home as they always raise their game when the big-boys come to town but I think we’ve got the quality to edge this one.

Betting Tips

Arsenal are the 8/11 favourties to win the game but Football-Talk can get you enhanced odds of 4/1 while you also get money back if you lose and £100 in free bets.

I also like the look of Olivier Giroud to open the scoring at 4/1 and if we combine that with a 2-1 win then we get very tempting odds of 20/1. Surely that’s worth a few quid?
