Arsenal missed the chance to move level on points at the top of the Premier League after being held to a frustrating 1-1 draw by Norwich City this afternoon.
Here are my ratings:
Cech 7/10 | Made one superb stop to prevent an own goal but couldn’t stop the equaliser.
Bellerin 6/10 | A real outlet going forward but was a little suspect at the back.
Mertesacker 6/10 | A disappointing game overall. Looked shaky at times.
Koscielny N/A | Off injured early on through injury. Let’s pray it’s not another serious problem.
Monreal 6/10 | Got himself in to some dangerous positions in attack but his crossing was extremely poor.
Flamini 6/10 | Put himself about in midfield but didn’t really have any impact in the game.
Cazorla 6.5/10 | Average display by the little Spaniard, although his performance was hampered during the second half as he picked up a knee injury.
Ramsey 5.5/10 | Good to see him back but he was rusty today. Meant to be playing on the right wing but spent more time in the middle.
Ozil 7/10 | Took his goal well and was our most dangerous player once again.
Sanchez 7/10 | Gave his everything and assisted the Ozil goal, but unfortunately he was forced off with a hamstring injury. A real blow.
Giroud 5/10 | Looks knackered. No movement at all up front, his touch was poor when he did see the ball and he missed a couple of decent chances.
Subs:
Gabriel 5/10 | Had a game to forget. Awful defending for their goal and looked poor throughout with the exception of one important clearance.
Campbell 6/10 | At least he looked interested and tried to make something happen.
Oxlade-Chamberlain N/A
