[Video Highlights] Liverpool 1-0 Leicester: Benteke Strike Sinks Foxes

Liverpool got back to winning ways with a hard fought 1-0 victory over Premier League leaders Leicester City at Anfield on Saturday afternoon.

After a goalless first forty-five minutes, the Merseysiders opened the scoring midway through the second half when Christian Benteke came off the bench to turn home a Roberto Firmino cross for 1-0 in the 63rd minute.

Both sides had chances to add to the scoreline but no further goals were scored so Liverpool held on to secure a huge victory which sees them move up to eighth in the table and within five points of fourth-placed Tottenham.

As for Leicester, they remain top but could be displaced if Arsenal beat Southampton at St Mary’s Stadium later on tonight.
