[Video Goals] Chelsea 3-3 Everton: Terry Nets Controversial Last Gasp Equaliser

John Terry scored a controversial equaliser deep into injury time to salvage a dramatic 3-3 draw for Chelsea against Everton at Stamford Bridge this afternoon.

John Terry scored a controversial equaliser deep into injury time to salvage a dramatic 3-3 draw for Chelsea against Everton at Stamford Bridge this afternoon.

After a goalless first half, the game sprung into life shortly after the break when Terry bundled into his own net from close range before the Toffees made it 0-2 in the 56th minute thanks to a fine snap-shot from Kevin Mirallas.

Chelsea reduced the deficit to 1-2 in the 64th minute when a mix up at the back gifted Diego Costa a simple tap-in before Cesc Fabregas levelled things up just two minutes later with a deflected shot from the edge of the area.

Everton looked like they had won it when Funes Mori acrobatically volleyed home in the 90th minute, however, there was yet more drama as Chelsea rescued a point right at the death as Terry flicked home from close range following some head-tennis in the area eight minutes in to injury time. Although replays showed the Chelsea skipper was well offside so Everton were rightly incensed that the goal was allowed to stand.
