[Photos] Liverpool Players Celebrate In Changing Room After League Cup Victory
The Liverpool players have shared photos of them celebrating in the changing room after they booked their place in the Capital One Cup final.
Liverpool booked their place in the Capital One Cup final at Wembley after a dramatic penalty shoot-out victory over Stoke City at Anfield this evening.
The Reds took a one-goal lead in to the second leg after winning at the Britannia Stadium but that advantage was wiped out when Marko Arnautovic made it 1-1 just before half time.
Neither side could find a winner after extra-time so it went to penalties and after Simon Mignolet had denied Marc Muniesa, Joe Allen scored the decisive spot kick to book Liverpool’s place in the final at Wembley where they’ll meet either Everton or Man City.
The players celebrated in front of the Anfield crowd on the pitch after the game and it looks like the celebrations carried on in to the changing room as Mamadou Sakho and Dejan Lovren have shared snaps of the squad posing for photos on social media.
