Arsenal will be looking to pull off a miracle when they take on Barcelona at the Nou Camp on Wednesday night. Here is the side Gooner Mac thinks Arsene Wenger will select for the game:
Goalkeeper: With Petr Cech still out with a calf injury, David Ospina will continue in goal tomorrow.
Defence: Laurent Koscielny will face a late fitness test after returning to full training following four games on the sidelines with a calf injury but the centre-back is expected to return alongside Per Mertesacker at the back.
Hector Bellerin will return at right-back having been rested for our FA Cup games while Nacho Monreal should come back in to replace Kieran Gibbs at left-back.
Midfield: With Aaron Ramsey out until next month with a thigh injury, Mohamed Elneny should keep his place alongside Francis Coquelin in midfield after another encouraging display at the weekend.
Santi Cazorla and Jack Wilshere are back in light training but remain unavailable for selection along with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Tomas Rosicky.
Attack: Despite the almost impossible task at hand, Wenger is expected to field his strongest team which means Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez should keep their places in attack. It will be interesting to see who Wenger picks on the right side but as we’re certainly going to play on the counter-attack, we could see Theo Walcott come in as his pace will be a useful weapon.
Danny Welbeck is expected to be given a recall up front after coming off the bench to score against Watford on Sunday with Olivier Giroud set to drop to the bench.
Here is how I think we’ll see Arsenal line-up:
What do you think? What line-up would you like to see start?
