[Photo Special] Arsenal Boost As Key Duo Return To Full Training Ahead Of Watford
Arsenal have been handed a huge boost with two key players returning to full training ahead of Saturday’s clash with Watford. See a photo special here.
Arsenal have been handed a huge boost as Petr Cech has returned to training ahead of Saturday’s clash with Watford while Jack Wilshere has also resumed full training after recovering from a fractured fibula.
Cech has missed our last five matches after suffering a calf injury during our 2-1 defeat to Swansea City last month but the Czech international was back on the training pitch at London Colney this afternoon.
Arsene Wenger said at his press conference earlier that Cech would be given a late fitness test to see if he’s ready to return to the first team by judging by the photos below, the 33-year-old looks ready for action.
In a further boost, Wilshere stepped-up his rehabilitation after taking part in full training as he looks to finally make his comeback having missed the entire season so far with a fractured fibula which he suffered in pre-season training.
Jack’s still going to need a few weeks to build his match fitness before he’ll be considered for the first team but it’s still great to see him back on the training pitch with the rest of the squad.
Youngster Chris Willock was given a chance to impress in front of Wenger after training with the first team today while the likes of Danny Welbeck, Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez were also present at London Colney as they look to keep sharp ahead of the Watford game tomorrow afternoon.
