Arsenal will be looking to take one step closer to securing qualification to the knockout stages of the Champions League when we take on Ludogorets at the Emirates on Wednesday night. Here is the side Gooner Mac thinks Arsene Wenger will select for the game:
Goalkeeper: Wenger has already confirmed that David Ospina will be our first choice keeper in the Champions League so Petr Cech will drop to the bench.
Defence: We have no fresh injury concerns to contend with but I think the boss may be tempted to give Nacho Monreal a breather as the Spaniard struggled against Swansea on Saturday afternoon so Kieran Gibbs could come in at left-back.
Hector Bellerin will continue on the right side of defence while Wenger is certain to stick with Shkodran Mustafi alongside Laurent Koscielny as the German international has been excellent following his summer move.
Midfield: Francis Coquelin is back in contention after recovering from a knee injury but I think Wenger will start Granit Xhaka as the Swiss midfielder is facing a three-game domestic ban following his sending off against Swansea.
Aaron Ramsey has stepped up his recovery from a hamstring injury in training but the Welshman remains unavailable so Santi Cazorla will continue in the middle of the park.
Attack: Olivier Giroud is also still out with a toe injury that has hampered him since the PSG game last month so Alexis Sanchez will once again lead the line up front.
Theo Walcott continued his fine form with a brace during the 3-2 win on Saturday so he should keep his place along with Alex Iwobi and Mesut Ozil in what’s becoming a familiar-looking attack.
Here is how I think we’ll see Arsenal line-up:
