Arsenal vs Middlesbrough Preview, Team News, Line-Ups, Betting Tips & Prediction
Arsenal take on Middlesbrough at the Emirates on Saturday afternoon. Here is a preview with team news, line-ups, betting tips and predicted score.
Arsenal will be looking to keep the pressure on at the top of the table when we take on Middlesbrough at the Emirates this afternoon.
Last weekend’s 3-2 victory over Swansea City saw us move level on points with Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table and with Pep Guardiola’s men not playing until Sunday, we have the chance to go clear with a win today.
The boys couldn’t be in better form as we extended our winning streak to seven matches in all competitions with an impressive 6-0 victory over Ludogorets in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
We should be confident of making it eight wins on the bounce as Boro arrive in the capital in poor form having taken just two points from their last six league matches.
Team news
Aaron Ramsey has continued to build on his fitness in training this past week but he’s still short for today’s game. The Welsh international could make his long-awaited return against Sunderland next week.
Olivier Giroud will also miss the Boro clash but he could make his return in the League Cup on Tuesday after six weeks out with a toe injury.
Granit Xhaka will begin a three-match ban following his sending off last week but Santi Cazorla is expected to be passed fit despite picking up a knock in midweek.
Petr Cech and Nacho Monreal should return to the starting eleven after being rested in midweek with David Ospina and Kieran Gibbs dropping to the bench.
Middlesbrough have no fresh injury worries to contend with but Grant Leadbitter is still short of fitness as he looks to make his return from a hernia operation.

Predicted Score
Arsenal 3-0 Middlesbrough: We head in to the game in superb form and if we reproduce the kind of football we saw in midweek, then we should blow Boro away. It probably won’t be as convincing, but I still think we’ll ease to another comfortable win today.
