Manchester United will be looking to continue their push for the top four when they take on Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Wednesday night.
Here is the team I think Jose Mourinho will pick for the game:
Goalkeeper: David De Gea was excellent against Tottenham at the weekend, proving once again that he’s once of the best keepers in the Premier League, so he is almost certain to start between the sticks tomorrow.
Defence: Antonio Valencia will miss the trip to the capital due to suspension after picking up his fifth booking of the season at the weekend. Matteo Darmian could therefore move across to right-back with Daley Blind favourite ahead of Luke Shaw to start at left-back as the England international is still working his way back to full fitness.
Eric Bailly was rested on Sunday after making his long-awaited comeback in the Europa League last week so I think we might see the Ivorian come in alongside Phil Jones against Palace with Marcos Rojo dropping out.
Midfield: Ander Herrera was outstanding against Spurs on Sunday so he should definitely keep his place in the middle of the park while Michael Carrick should start alongside the Spaniard as long as Mourinho doesn’t have any reservations about the 35-year-old playing two games in four days.
Attack: Henrikh Mkhitaryan has been ruled out for at least the next two games after being forced off with an ankle injury against Tottenham so Juan Mata could be set for a recall on the wing.
Wayne Rooney is pushing to come back in to the side after being a substitute at the weekend but I think we’ll see Paul Pogba continue in the advanced midfield role with Anthony Martial on the left wing.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic should lead the line up front having scored 7 goals in his last 7 games with Marcus Rashford offering an option from the bench.
Here is how we think United will line-up:
