We’ve been dealt a major blow with the news that Mesut Ozil has been ruled out of the game due to illness so Lucas Perez comes in to the attack to make a rare start in the league.
Olivier Giroud keeps his place and is supported by Alex Iwobi and Alexis Sanchez while Mohamed Elneny comes in to the midfield to start alongside Granit Xhaka before he heads off to the African Cup of Nations.
Gabriel keeps his place in defence with Shkodran Mustafi only on the bench despite recovering from a hamstring injury while Nacho Monreal gets a recall at left-back with Kieran Gibbs ruled out due to a knee problem.
