[Video Goals] Arsenal 2-0 Crystal Palace: Giroud Stunner Sends Gunners 3rd

Arsenal moved back up to third spot in the Premier League table with a routine 2-0 victory over Crystal Palace at the Emirates this afternoon thanks largely to a stunner from Olivier Giroud.

We started brightly and opened the scoring in spectacular fashion as Giroud scored one of the greatest goals ever with the French international sending a scorpion kick in off the bar following a lovely flowing move.

The pressure continued and we eventually got the second goal in the 56th minute when Alex Iwobi headed home from close after Palace had failed to clear a Nacho Monreal cross.

Alexis Sanchez and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain both went close to extending our lead and making the game more comfortable but it finished 2-0 which is enough to see us move back up to third and nine points behind leaders Chelsea.
