Klopp Hands 21-Year-Old Start: Predicted Liverpool Line-Up To Face Bournemouth

Liverpool will look to cement their position in the top four when they entertain Bournemouth at Anfield on Wednesday night.

Here is the side I think Jurgen Klopp will select for the game:

Goalkeeper: Simon Mignolet didn’t put a foot wrong during the 3-1 win over Everton at the weekend so I see no reason why Klopp would want to change his keeper tomorrow night.

Defence: The Reds have no fresh injury worries to contend with at the back so I think we’ll see the same back four that faced Everton selected against Bournemouth.

That means Dejan Lovren is set to keep his place alongside Joel Matip in the middle of defence while Nathaniel Clyne and James Milner will occupy the full-back positions.

Midfield: Klopp has some problems in midfield as Jordan Henderson has flown to the United States in a bid to help cure an on-going foot injury while Adam Lallana is also out for the foreseeable future with a thigh injury.

Emre Can has missed training recently so he could be a doubt tomorrow but I’m sure Klopp will give the German international every chance to prove his fitness.

Lucas Leiva did well enough against Everton to keep his place in the holding role while Gini Wijnaldum is also certain to retain his place in midfield.

Attack: Sadio Mane will not feature as the Reds wait nervously for the results of a scan after the attacker suffered a potentially serious knee injury during the win over Everton.

Daniel Sturridge returned to full training yesterday after recovering from a hip injury but Klopp has suggested he’s not ready to start so a place on the bench is the best he can hope for tomorrow.

Therefore, we’re expected to see Divock Origi given a start up front after the 21-year-old came off the bench to score the third goal against Everton at the weekend. Roberto Firmino will move out to the wing while Philippe Coutinho will keep his place on the left side of attack.

Here is how we think Liverpool will line up:
