Arsenal moved back up to fifth spot in the Premier League table thanks to a relatively comfortable 3-0 win over West Ham at the Emirates tonight.
After a goalless first half, we sprung to life after the break and opening the scoring in the 58th minute when Mesut Ozil curled home from the edge of the area – although Randolph will feel he should have done better.
It was 2-0 ten minutes later and it was vintage Arsenal as a lovely move involving Alexis Sanchez and Ozil ended with Theo Walcott finding the bottom corner with a side-footed finish.
The victory was then sealed late on when Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain burst through the Hammers team before setting up fellow sub Olivier Giroud who curled home a superb effort for 3-0.
The victory sees us move above Manchester United on goal difference but we’re now just four points behind fourth placed Man City with a game in hand.
