Chelsea celebrated lifting the Premier League trophy in style with a 5-1 comeback win over Sunderland at Stamford Bridge this afternoon.
The visitors looked to be spoiling the party as Javuer Manquillo scored a surprise opener in the 3rd minute with the defender lashing home at the far post following a deflected free-kick.
Sunderland’s lead didn’t last long as Chelsea equalised just minutes later as Willian fired home from a tight angle in the 8th minute after a scramble in the area.
The Blues then took the lead midway through the second half when Eden Hazard found the back of the net with a fine strike after being teed-up by Diego Costa in the 61st minute.
Chelsea made sure of the three points when Pedro took full advantage of some woeful defending from Joleon to nod in to an empty net in the 77th minute before Michy Batshuayi scored a late double to secure a 5-1 win.
