Arsene Wenger has once again rotated his squad with the first team regulars all given the night off ahead of Sunday’s Premier League trip to Manchester City.
Young goalkeeper Matt Macey gets a start while Mathieu Debuchy comes in to the defence to make just his third start of the season. Rob Holding also gets a recall while midfielder Mohamed Elneny drops in to the back three.
Joe Willock, Reiss Nelson and Ainsley Maitland-Niles are all given another chance to impress while Francis Coquelin will marshall the midfield with Jack Wilshere deployed in a more advanced role.
Theo Walcott is recalled in attack with Olivier Giroud leading the line up front and youngster Eddie Nketiah among the substitutes.
