Some of the Arsenal players have been reacting on social media after we moved up to fourth in the table with a last gasp win over Burnley at Turf Moor this afternoon.
In a tight game we struggled to create many clear-cut chances and it looked as though we’d have to settle for a point until referee Lee Mason pointed to the spot after Aaron Ramsey was fouled in the area.
Alexis Sanchez stepped up to fire home the resulting penalty in the 92nd minute to secure a hard fought 1-0 win which sees us climb up to fourth position in the Premier League table.
Shkodran Mustafi and Laurent Koscielny were solid as a rock at the back and the pair have shared a photo on Twitter this evening of them celebrating in the changing room after the game.
Danny Welbeck also took to the micro-blogging site to thank everyone for sending him their birthday messages as the forward celebrated turning 27 with a vital win at Turf Moor.
Alex Iwobi, Nacho Monreal and Petr Cech also posted messages on Twitter while goal-scorer Sanchez took to Instagram to express his delight at coming away with all three points today.
Check out their messages below:
