Liverpool target Christian Pulisic has refused to rule out joining Manchester United after confirming he’s a boyhood fan of the Manchester giants, according to the Mirror.
Pulisic has developed in to one of the most highly-rated young attackers in European football since joining Borussia Dortmund from PA Classics in 2015.
The 19-year-old is now an important first team player at the German outfit having made 26 appearances in all competitions so far this season while he’s also got 9 goals in 20 caps for the United States national team.
His potential has attracted interest from the Premier League with the Mirror claiming that Liverpool and Man Utd are both keeping track of the attacker ahead of potential summer swoops.
The duo have been handed a boost in their pursuit as Pulisic has now revealed he’s a huge fan of the Premier League but it seems he may favour a move to Old Trafford if he does come to these shores.
Although the American star insists he’s focussed on Borussia Dortmund, he’s fuelled speculation linking him with United after confirming he’s a boyhood fan of the Red Devils.
After being quizzed about growing up supporting United, Pulisic is quoted as saying by the Mirror:
“Yeah, I was. I was definitely a big fan [of Man Utd]. Of course, right now I am under contract with Dortmund and I’m not looking around or doing anything like that so I’m very focused there. But, yeah, it’s cool to hear all this stuff!
“Of course, the Premier League is an unbelievable league. You never know in football what can happen, so right now, I’m focused with Dortmund, and yeah, that’s that.”
The players comments come after a photo emerged online of Pulisic wearing a Man Utd shirt when he was a youngster:
Jose Mourinho is expected to further strengthen his squad this summer as he looks to build a side capable of challenging Man City and Pulisic would be an excellent signing if they could pull it off.

However, I wouldn’t discount Liverpool from the running just yet as Jurgen Klopp is also a huge fan of the American’s and is hoping for a reunion at Anfield after handing Pulisic his debut during their time together at Dortmund.
