£89m Star Ready To Snub Man Utd Offer In Favour Of Joining Chelsea
Real Madrid midfielder Isco is ready to snub offers from the likes of Manchester United in favour of joining Chelsea this summer
The transfer window is closed but managers are working hard on their plans for the summer so we’ll bring you all the latest gossip from around the globe. Today, Isco is keen on joining Chelsea….
Real Madrid midfielder Isco is ready to snub offers from the likes of Manchester United in favour of joining Chelsea this summer, according to reports in Spain via the Daily Star.
Isco joined Madrid from Malaga in 2013 and has developed a reputation as one of the best attacking midfielders in Europe having helped Los Blancos win a whole host of top honours including 1 La Liga title and 3 Champions Leagues.
However, the Spanish international has struggled to hold down a regular place in Zinedine Zidane’s starting eleven this season as he’s started just 18 La Liga games so far this campaign.
It seems Isco has grown increasingly frustrated with his role at the Bernabeu and the midfielder could be one of several high profile casualties as Zidane looks to revamp his squad this summer.
There is no shortage of interest being shown in the player as the Daily Star are citing reports from Don Balon that claim Man Utd are among the clubs who’ve put forward offers for Isco’s signature.
Jose Mourinho needs to add more creativity to his squad if he’s to compete with Man City next season and Isco would certainly add a spark that’s often been missing from United at times this campaign.
However, it seems the Red Devils are in for disappointment as the Spanish publication says Isco is ready to snub all other offers as he’s desperate to join Chelsea in order to link up with Alvaro Morata.
The report says Chelsea are readying a move for the 25-year-old as they look to strengthen their squad following a disastrous defence of their Premier League title and a disappointing exit from the Champions League.
Madrid aren’t prepared to let Isco leave on the cheap as TeamTalk suggested earlier this month that the Spanish giants valued him at around £89m so Chelsea will have to dig deep if they want to sign him.

We’ll have to wait and see how things develop over the coming weeks but I think Isco would be a sensational signing if Chelsea, or indeed United, managed to get a deal agreed for his signature this summer.
