The Frenchman is set to end his 22-year reign at the Emirates after announcing late last month that he will walk away from the club at the end of the season following a disappointing campaign.

Any hopes of a fairy-tale ending were dashed after we lost to Atletico Madrid in the semi-finals of the Europa League and we’re guaranteed to finish sixth in the table no matter the result today.

It’s sure to be an emotional day but hopefully the players will do all they can to send Wenger off with a win as we look to collect our first away point of 2018.

There should be a celebratory atmosphere in the ground after Huddersfield secured their top flight status with a hard fought 1-1 draw against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night.

Arsenal will be without the suspended Konstantinos Mavropanos after he was sent off during the 3-1 defeat to Leicester in midweek while Laurent Koscielny is facing six months out following Achilles surgery.

Mesut Ozil misses the last game of the season with a back problem while Mohamed Elneny is still nursing an ankle injury. Santi Cazorla has returned to full training but this game will come too soon.

Huddersfield are set to welcome Tom Ince back in to the squad after he recovered from a hamstring injury but Michael Hefele, Elias Kachunga and Danny Williams remain sidelined.
