The summer transfer window is now open and managers are working hard on their transfer targets so we’ll bring you all the latest gossip from around the globe. Today, the latest on Radja Nainggolan…
Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United are battling it out to sign Radja Nainggolan as Roma prepare to cash-in on the £45m-rated midfielder this summer, according to a report by TeamTalk.
Nainggolan has been one of the best central midfielders in Italian football since joining Roma from Cagliari in 2014 and he played a key role in helping them reach the semi-finals of the Champions League last season.
The 30-year-old has also been a regular with his country having racked up 30 caps for the Belgian national team, however, he was surprisingly left out of their squad for this summers World Cup finals.
Nainggolan has been linked with a move to England in recent transfer windows and the speculation is mounting as we head in to the summer with several Premier League clubs chasing his signature.
TeamTalk are carrying a report from the Sun that claims Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United are all battling it out to sign Nainggolan this summer while Inter Milan are also reportedly showing an interest.
A move could finally be on the cards as the report says Roma are ready to cash-in if a fee in the region of £45m is put on the table – although Italian outlet Calciomercato suggest the asking price may be closer to £30m.
Arsenal are in the market for another midfielder as Santi Cazorla has left the club and Jack Wilshere’s future is in serious doubt as he’s yet to sign a new contract so Nainggolan is seemingly being eyed by new boss Unai Emery.
United are also expected to sign at least one midfielder this summer as Michael Carrick has retired while Marouane Fellaini is set to leave when his contract expires next month and the Red Devils have been long-term admirers of Nainggolan.

However, so too have Chelsea, and the Blues are also being tipped to strengthen their options in the middle of the park with Danny Drinkwater expected to leave so the West Londoners could provide stiff competition for Nainggolan’s signature if he opts for a move to England.
