Liverpool flew-out to the United States in the early hours of Saturday morning after Jurgen Klopp confirmed his 29-man pre-season tour squad.

The Reds have been working hard during pre-season at Melwood in recent weeks but they’ll step-up their preparations for for the new campaign during an eight-day stay in America.
The squad took off from Manchester Airport in the middle of the night and will land in Charlotte, North Carolina at around 7am local time [12pm BST] ahead of their participation in the International Champions Cup.
Liverpool are due to face Borussia Dortmund on Sunday night at 9.05pm before taking on Premier League Champions Manchester City on Thursday 26th at 1.05am.
The tour ends with a clash against north-west rivals Manchester United next Saturday at 10.05pm before Liverpool head back to Europe for further friendlies against Napoli and Torino.
Klopp has announced his 29-man squad on Liverpoolfc.com and as expected, big-money summer signings Naby Keita and Fabinho are included so they’ll be looking to impress during the tour.
Xhedran Shaqiri is still on holiday following his exploits at the World Cup but the Swiss international will link-up with his new team mates in time for the Jersey leg of the trip.
Recent signing Alisson Becker won’t be involved as he’s been given an extended break following his participation at the World Cup with Brazil while Danny Ings hasn’t travelled to the US as he’s been left at Melwood to train following a minor ankle injury.
Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane are on the plane after they returned to pre-season training on Thursday following their post World Cup break.
