Arsenal will be looking to make a winning start to their Europa League campaign when FC Vorskla come to the Emirates on Thursday night. Here is the side Gooner Mac thinks Unai Emery will select for the game:

Goalkeeper: Petr Cech has been the first choice keeper in the Premier League but Emery is expected to rotate his squad on Thursday so we should see Bernd Leno making his debut between the sticks.

Defence: Emery would probably like to rest the majority of his back four but with Sead Kolasinac, Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Laurent Koscielny still weeks away from returning from injury the bosses options are limited at the back.

However, we could still see a couple of changes in defence with Stephan Lichtsteiner coming in to make his full debut at right-back allowing Hector Bellerin a well-earned rest while Rob Holding could make his first start of the season.

Sokratis may be the man most likely to make way as we need to protect him for more important games so Shkodran Mustafi could keep his place with Nacho Monreal once again at left-back. Ideally we’d rest Monreal but we have very few alternatives who could come in.

Midfield: We’re almost certain to see things mixed up in midfield with Lucas Torreira expected to make his full debut having been excellent off the bench in recent games while Mohamed Elneny could come in to make a rare start in the middle of the park.

Matteo Guendouzi could do with a breather as he’s played a lot of football since arriving in the summer while Granit Xhaka is also likely to be rested on Thursday night.

Attack: Aaron Ramsey has been deployed in the No.10 role recently but I think we’ll see him given a rest with Henrikh Mkhitaryan coming back in having been left on the bench for the last two matches.

Mesut Ozil is almost certain to be left out as he’ll be saved for the Premier League game against Everton at the weekend so Danny Welbeck could come in to make his first start of the season in attack.

I expect Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to be given a breather so Alex Iwobi could come in to the front three while Alexandre Lacazette may retain his place up front with Eddie Nketiah an option from the bench.

Here is how I think we’ll see Arsenal line-up:
