Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored twice to help Arsenal beat Rennes 3-0 and book their place in the quarter finals of the Europa League with a 4-3 aggregate victory.
Arsenal made a superb start as we broke the deadlock inside the opening five minutes when Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was on hand to tap home from close range after an Aaron Ramsey cross.
We doubled our advantage just 10 minutes later when Aubameyang combined with Ramsey before crossing for Ainsley Maitland-Niles to head home at the far post for 2-0 in the 15th minute.
Rennes made it a disjointed game after the break as they looked to battle their way back into the match but it was Arsenal who got the third goal when Sead Kolasinac found Aubameyang with a superb cross and the striker tapped home for 3-0 in the 72nd minute.
Aubameyang wasted two glorious chances to complete his hat-trick and finish the tie but Arsenal held on to secure a 3-0 win on the night and book our place in the hat for the quarter final draw with a 4-3 aggregate win.
