Leicester vs Arsenal preview | Injury boost for Gunners | Expected XI’s | Prediction

Arsenal will be looking to move back into the top four of the Premier League with a win over Leicester City at the King Power Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Our chances of qualifying for the Champions League via the league have taken a huge hit over the past week as we followed-up last weekend’s 3-2 defeat to Crystal Palace with another 3-1 loss at Wolves on Wednesday night.

However, our rivals are also dropping points and with Tottenham losing at home to West Ham this afternoon, Arsenal can move above Chelsea into fourth and to within just one point of third with a win at Leicester.

It won’t be an easy game as the Foxes have won four and lost just one of their last six games but with Chelsea taking on Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon, this is an opportunity Arsenal cannot afford to miss.

Team news

Arsenal are set to welcome Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang back in to the squad after he missed the Wolves game in midweek with a minor sinus problem. The Gabon international trained today so is expected to be recalled to start at the King Power which will be a huge boost.

However, Aaron Ramsey remains out with a hamstring injury while Denis Suarez is still on the sidelines with a groin problem. Hector Bellerin, Danny Welbeck and Rob Holding remain long-term absentees for the Gunners.

Leicester have no fresh injury concerns to worry about but Daniel Amartey remains out with a broken ankle.

Leicester City 1-2 Arsenal: We’ve lost just one of our last 24 meetings with Leicester in the Premier League and the Foxes have lost eight times at home already this season so Emery will be hoping this is a good opportunity for his side to get back to winning ways tomorrow. I do think Leicester will cause us plenty of problems and Jamie Vardy always does well against us, but I have a feeling Arsenal will edge it 2-1.
