Arsenal will be hoping to climb up to third in the Premier League table with a win over Bournemouth this afternoon.
The Gunners make wholesale changes to the starting eleven that beat Standard Liege in the Europa League as Bernd Leno replaces Emi Martinez in goal while Sead Kolasinac replaces Kieran Tierney at left-back despite the Scotsman putting in an excellent performance in midweek.
Calum Chambers comes in for Hector Bellerin – who isn’t named in the squad – at right-back while David Luiz and Sokratis replace Shkodran Mustafi and Rob Holding in the middle of the back four.
Granit Xhaka and Matteo Guendouzi start along with Dani Ceballos in midfield meaning Joe Willock and Lucas Torreira must settle for places on the bench. Mesut Ozil isn’t named in the Arsenal squad for the third consecutive match.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is recalled to start up front with Bukayo Saka and Nicolas Pepe supporting him in attack. Gabriel Martinelli drops to the bench despite scoring a brace on Thursday while Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Reiss Nelson also make way.
As for Bournemouth, Dominic Solanke starts up front with Callum Wilson while Harry Wilson is picked in attack with Ryan Fraser on the bench.
