Chelsea are back in Champions League action tonight as they welcome Ajax to Stamford Bridge.
Frank Lampard has made some changes from the side that beat Watford at the weekend as Marcos Alonso gets a recall with the Spaniard replacing Emerson Palmeiri at left-back. Andreas Christensen returns to the squad after recovering from injury but he’s only named on the bench with Fikayo Tomori lining-up alongside Kurt Zouma once again at the heart of defence.
Cesar Azpilicueta starts at right-back with Reece James named among the substitutes while Kepa Arrizabalaga retains his place in goal. N’Golo Kante returns to the squad after a groin injury but the Frenchman is only named on the bench so Mateo Kovacic keeps his place alongside Jorginho in the Chelsea midfield.
Mason Mount keeps his spot while Willian and Christian Pulisic start in attack meaning Callum Hudson-Odoi has to settle for a place on the bench along with youngster Billy Gilmour. Tammy Abraham leads the line up front for Chelsea with Michy Batshuayi among the subs.
