We have another exciting Sunday of Premier League action to look forward to with three games scheduled throughout the day. Let’s take a look at each game and make some predictions.

Aston Villa vs West Ham

Steven Gerrard’s Villa side welcome the Hammers to Villa Park at 2pm and it’s expected to be an interesting match-up. Both sides had eyes on the European qualification places heading into the new season, but neither have made the start they were hoping for. Villa have taken just three points from their opening matches having tasked defeat twice and they sit in the bottom half of the table, so Gerrard will be keen to get their campaign up and running.

West Ham on the other hand have endured a nightmare start as they sit bottom of the division following three defeats from three games, so Moyes is under pressure to pick up their first points of the season.

This is a tough game to predict and punters may be better off trying their luck at online blackjack or a few spins of roulette rather than putting any money on this match, as it really could go either way. Villa are the 13/10 favourites with the bookmakers to win and we back the hosts to edge it. Aston Villa 2-1 West Ham

Wolves vs Newcastle

Another fascinating match-up at Molineux as Wolves entertain ambitious Newcastle United at 2pm. The Magpies have made a solid start to the season having picked up five points from their opening three games so Eddie Howe will be looking to continue that form today. Newcastle have snapped up Alexander Isak in a big-money deal but the Swedish hitman won’t be involved just yet.

Wolves have also spent big money in the market this summer but Bruno Larg’s side have endured a tough start to the season. The hosts have won just one point so far having lost two and drawn one of their opening matches, so Larg is under pressure to get a result on home soil.

The bookies are struggling to separate the two teams with Wolves priced at 9/5 while Newcastle are 13/8 to win. The draw at odds of 9/4 looks like a solid bet as we’re predicting the points to be shared. Wolves 1-1 Newcastle

Nottingham Forest vs Tottenham

The final game of the day sees newly-promoted Forest welcome Tottenham to the City Ground at 4.30pm. Forest have made a solid start to life back in the Premier League having secured four points so far and they’ll be quietly confident of picking up a positive result today.

However, they’ll be up against a Tottenham side who are unbeaten so far following two wins and a drawn from their three matches, and Antonio Conte’s men are one of the most dangerous sides in the division going forward. The likes of Harry Kane, Hueng-min Son, Richarlison and Dejan Kulusevski will cause any side problems so Forest could have their work cut out.

Tottenham are the 4/9 favourites with the betting sites to win the game and we can’t see past an away victory. Forest 1-3 Tottenham
