Devil Duo Fit For Chelsea Match
Two of Manchester United’s most promising players this season, Wayne Rooney and Patrice Evra, have been declared fit and are very likely to feature in the side’s clash against Chelsea in what should be an exciting Barclays Premier League decider at Old Trafford on Sunday.
The duo missed The Red Devils’ 4-1 triumph over German opponents Schalke FC in the second-leg of the UEFA Champions League semi-final due to injuries but manager Sir Alex Ferguson is very confident that the both of them will win their respective races against time.
Wayne Rooney missed the game after the 25-year-old complained of a tight hamstring while training with his teammates on Tuesday. On the other hand, Patrice Evra didn’t start the game but came on as a second-half substitute before picking up a knock on his thigh.
Manchester United, the current league leaders of the Barclays Premier League, are three points above rivals Chelsea with only three games left to be played. But the whole complexion at the top of the league can be changed entirely if Chelsea manage to emerge victorious from Old Trafford, a crucial win that can see them go top on goal difference.
