Van Dijk and Salah return as Slot makes 10 changes | Predicted Liverpool XI vs Crystal Palace

Liverpool saw off Southampton with a late goal in their Carabao Cup game on Tuesday, and return to the Premier League tomorrow at 15:00 local time against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park in their matchday six fixture.

Arne Slot’s men have won every single match this season across all competitions but will be up against an unbeaten Premier League opposition in their forthcoming clash against the Eagles.

Rememore new hair

Here is how they might line-up for the game.

Goalkeeper – Alisson Becker could come back into the team, replacing Giorgi Mamardashvili.

Defenders – Jeremie Frimpong has not endured the most positive start to his Premier League career, so against a difficult opponent, he might drop out of the team and make way for Dominik Szoboszlai to feature at right back. Likewise, Milos Kerkez might stay out of the team with Slot likely to prefer the experienced Andy Robertson.

The centre backs are also expected to be the manager’s primary pairing, Ibrahima Konate and Virgil van Dijk.

Salah and Isak start

Midfielders – Alexis Mac Allister and Ryan Gravenberch have played well so far this season, with the latter particularly in the form of his career. The duo are expected to start in the double pivot against Crystal Palace, whereas Florian Wirtz could get the nod at number 10 as he seeks his first goal contribution in the Premier League.

Mohamed Salah may also return to playing on the right wing, while Cody Gakpo might get handed the nod on the left side.

Forward – With Hugo Ekitike suspended after his red card against Southampton midweek, Alexander Isak might be Liverpool’s striker against Crystal Palace.

Here is how the Reds might look on paper.
