Kerkez replaces Robertson at Elland Road: Predicted Liverpool XI vs Leeds United

Liverpool avoided defeat to Sunderland at Anfield on Wednesday thanks to an own-goal forced by Florian Wirtz after the visitors took the lead, and then a brilliant clearance off the line by Federico Chiesa in the second-half stoppage time.
Arne Slot’s run of fixtures is not getting easier as he takes the Reds to Elland Road to face Leeds United at 17:30 local time on matchday 15 of the Premier League.
Here is a look at the players the Dutchman might employ in hopes of securing three vital points for his side.
Goalkeeper – Alisson Becker is expected to keep his place in goal for Liverpool.
Defenders – Joe Gomez could continue at right back with Conor Bradley and Jeremie Frimpong still recovering from his injury, but £40 million summer signing Milos Kerkez might return to the team, replacing Andy Robertson at left back.
Ibrahima Konate and Virgil van Dijk are set to retain their places in the team as the two centre backs.
No changes further up
Midfielders – Alexis Mac Allister and Ryan Gravenberch are expected to continue in the double pivot having done decently in the last two matches, but also in part due to the team not having much depth in midfield. Florian Wirtz might play as the attacking midfielder, having made a good impression in the Sunderland game last time out.
Dominik Szoboszlai is likely to be picked on the right wing on paper, but he will have the freedom to venture freely into spaces in the final third, and Cody Gakpo could also stay in the line-up for Liverpool on their left wing.
Forward – Alexander Isak scored his first Premier League goal against West Ham last weekend but did not have much of an impact against Sunderland. Nonetheless, he is likely to be employed as the number nine by the coach ahead of Hugo Ekitike.
Here is a look at Liverpool’s potential eleven on paper.
