Predicted Tottenham line-up against Liverpool

Tottenham Hotspur are set to take on Liverpool at Anfield in the Carabao Cup third-round fixture tonight.
After finishing 17th in the last two Premier League seasons, the Lilywhites splashed a huge amount of money this summer to overhaul the squad and hand Roberto De Zerbi the necessary tools to achieve success this season.
However, Spurs have started the new season poorly, languishing 17th in the league with two points from four games. They haven’t scored in the Premier League thus far.
Team news
Dejan Kulusevski and Pedro Porro aren’t in contention to feature tonight owing to their respective injury problems. Moreover, Wilson Odobert and Xavi Simons are set to remain sidelined due to their serious knee issues.
Mykhailo Mudryk is also unavailable for selection owing to his injury. However, Destiny Udogie is ready to be involved in this game, after missing out last weekend.
Roberto De Zerbi has made it clear that Richarlison won’t feature in the Premier League or the Carabao Cup even if the Brazilian is fit and available.
Predicted line-up
Antonin Kinsky is set to keep hold of his place in goal, while Jan Paul van Hecke should continue in the centre-back position. Alongside the Dutchman, Marcos Senesi might get the nod to start at the back for Spurs tonight; therefore, Micky Van de Ven could get a breather.
Amid Porro’s absence, Archie Gray, valued at around £30m by Transfermarkt, is expected to be the right-back, while Andrew Robertson would be on the opposite side to face his old club.
Sandro Tonali and Mateus Fernandes could be the double midfield pivot, while Conor Gallagher is likely to be deployed in the CAM role for Tottenham. In that case, Rodrigo Bentancur, Lucas Bergvall and James Maddison should feature as substitutes if needed.
Savio has looked bright in recent matches and could continue on the right flank, while Mathys Tel could commence on the opposite side. So, Mohammed Kudus may get involved as a substitute.
Omar Marmoush is likely to lead the line for the visitors, meaning Dominic Solanke would have to make do with a place on the bench.
Expected Tottenham line-up against Liverpool
Kinsky; Gray, Van Hecke, Senesi, Robertson; Tonali, Fernandes, Gallagher; Savio, Marmoush, Tel
